Bottle Nipple Tips

Nipples that have worked for other families in the past:
(these are in alphabetical order and not in any other order of ranking)

- any Cross-Cut nipple ?no name brand
- Gerber New Traditions Dome shaped nipples as well as the Gerber One Piece nipple/ring and bottle
- Haberman nipple
- Healthtex Stage 1 nipples and then stage 2 (call 1-800-441-7065 for the information you need in locating this product in your area)

luv n care" bottle with stages, the 2nd stage nipples have a groove almost to fit perfectly with her tongue

Munchkin brand, newborn size which is blue and later upgraded to the white - no transition problems at all
- Nuk cross cut vent nipples
slow flow and fast flow (by Gerber)

- Playtex rubber nipples (NOT SILICONE) either a
flat tip (infant and older baby flow) or a rounded tip (older baby flow only). We started with the infant nipple and moved to the older baby flow as he got older and wanted to eat faster. These nipples work with Playtex's disposable nurser system ("Drop-ins" are great!). These can be purchased at most any Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, or drugstore and various sites on-line.

Playtex with a very small extra hole punched (with a sewing needle) beside the center hole

Bottles that have worked well for other families:
- cleft palate squeezable bottles

Playtex VentAire bottles. They are hard plastic bottles with a special rubber bottom that allows air to come in. They are new and I never used them with my other 2 kids. The Nipple that we use is the Stage 2 nipple that came with the bottle. I always thought that it simply had a larger whole, but on closer inspection I see that it is a Y cut nipple
